Meanwhile, Tara, Alisha's departed sister, yearns to embark on her journey to the afterlife. Bound by an ethereal obligation, she returns to guide Alisha through the tumult of her grief and towards the path of acceptance. But time is running out, and Tara must help Alisha find the courage to board the mystical train that will carry her into the unknown.

As Alisha confronts her inner demons and battles against the weight of her sorrow, she must ultimately decide whether to cling to the past or embrace the uncertain future that lies ahead. In a poignant tale of love, loss, and redemption, will Alisha find the strength to bid farewell to her sister and step onto the train that promises a new beginning?

Meet the Writer and Director.

Anansya Latka is an aspiring filmmaker and senior at Emerson College with a passion for storytelling and a global perspective. Hailing from a multicultural background and having lived in over five countries, Anansya brings a unique blend of cultural influences to her work.

At Emerson, Anansya has immersed herself in various film projects, both independent and collaborative. Notably, she has made significant contributions to The Emerson Channel, serving as Executive Producer for Season 5 of Culture Shock and Studio Director for Season 6. Her dedication to her craft led her to participate in the prestigious Prague Summer Program at FAMU, where she spent a transformative month collaborating with peers from around the world on a compelling short film.

She also lends her expertise as a Writing Consultant at the Writing and Academic Resource Center, assisting fellow students with a wide range of writing tasks, from academic papers to scripts and resumes. Beyond her film endeavors, Anansya enjoys traveling, live music, books, and museums.
